This 5-day course covers the essentials of BEA WebLogic Server™ 7.0 Administration, including the critical architecture concepts of Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application deployment and administration. Special attention is given to BEA WebLogic Server as a Webserver, as well as fault tolerance, load balancing with clustering, security planning and implementation, and performance tuning.

The course also presents an administrator''s introduction to Java Management Extensions (JMX) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) management.

Students will learn how to administer, structure, and architect systems that are capable of handling large throughput and concurrency – critical skills for all business-to-business or enterprise applications.
