BEA WebLogic Server 9/10: Clustering

This course trains BEA WebLogic Server administrators to work with a cluster of servers. Students will learn how to create and configure a cluster, how to work with proxy servers and how to manage session replication. Students will be able to configure and install Web and EJB applications on to a cluster as well as manage the load balancing and failure of services in a cluster such as Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) and Java Messaging Service (JMS). Learn to: - Configure and manage a cluster of BEA WebLogic servers - Load balance HTTP requests - Migrate servers in the case of a server failure - Deploy applications to a cluster and manage services in a cluster

o Create and configure a cluster of servers o Create and configure an HttpClusterServlet o Install the Apache HTTP Server plug-in o Configure in-memory session replication o Configure Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) session replication o Set up clustering in a metropolitan area network (MAN) or wide area network (WAN) o Migrate a whole server o Migrate individual services o Deploy Web and EJB applications to a cluster o Cluster JDBC and Java Message Service (JMS) resources
