Max. 12 participants. Practice your business English with a native speaker who has lived in a number of English-speaking countries and has more than 25 years of experience working in the business world. This course is for C-level speakers who want to practice speaking English at an advanced level. We will review business topics and current affairs using articles from American and British newspapers and magazines (e.g. New York Times, The Economist). Along the way we will discuss various aspects of business English including (but not limited to) business vocabulary, formal versus informal usage, presentations and problems of cross-cultural communication. The atmosphere will be relaxed with plenty of English humour. The emphasis will be on speaking and listening and improving your communication skills. The course is very flexible, allowing lots of time to deal with individual questions, interests or needs.
