Learn how to design and implement virtualization solutions on NetApp® storage systems. In this course, you learn how to deploy VMware® virtual infrastructure on NetApp storage, how to integrate VMware and NetApp features, and how to deploy Microsoft® Windows® server virtualization (Hyper-V®) on NetApp storage. By the end of this course, you should be able to:
  • Describe VMware vSphere 5.0 and Microsoft Hyper-V(Windows Server 2008 R2) virtualization solutions
  • Configure physical and virtual infrastructures
  • Provision the virtual infrastructure with NetApp storage
  • Create, migrate, and clone virtual machines

  • Identify the basic components of vSphere
  • Describe how data centers are organized and how NetApp can increase storage efficiency

  • Demonstrate the NetApp unified storage solution and the integration between NetApp and VMware
Module 2 Storage Layout and Provisioning
  • Explain the datastore categories and their applications
