Have you always wanted to work as a hotel receptionist in a top hotel? The Hotel Receptionist & Opera Property Management System Course offered by Reception Academy is the market leading training course, since will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to work in the best hotels in the United Kingdom and abroad.

This course is focused in the practical training and its programme is tailored in partnership with over 500 hotels, such as Premier Inn, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriot, etc. Accordingly, you will learn hotel terminology, up selling techniques, booking procedures and customer service techniques, such as welcoming guests or dealing with guest complaints using a replica hotel reception desk. Students will also have access to a computer to learn how to use Opera Property Management System V5 the software used in most hotels in the UK – check-in and check-out, hotel accounts, etc. Apart from that, you will also gain interview skills in order to improve your job prospects.

Upon successful completion of the course, a graduation ceremony takes place in 4*/5* London hotels to introduce the graduates to human resources staff working for partner hotel branches. In addition, a profile of each graduate consisting of CV, photograph, contact details and employment preferences is created in the academy website, where partnered hotels can access in order to find applicants.

Das Beste My experience here has been brilliant! Although at first it was kind of hard since I used to work in another place, their staff made me feel comfortable because they were always available in case I need it. The first time I used the Opera system was difficult but as I started practicing it became natural. My teacher, Ramin, is a good person; he was there any time I needed him. He taught us how to deal with a formal interview which was useful for me. Now I’m part of Staybridge Suites' staff in Vauxhall and to finally become a professional in this industry, thank you Reception Academy!
