Themenkreis

This course builds on your existing postgraduate study of HR by bringing together the knowledge and skills you have developed throughout your previous learning and allowing you to apply them to an original research project – an applied dissertation.

With expert supervision from some of the UK’s leading HRM academics and practitioners, you’ll extend your knowledge of a selected HR topic and apply it to the formulation and design of a substantive investigation.

This course includes a weekend workshop on advanced research methods, with guidance on postgraduate study for those who need refreshing since completing their diploma. You’ll also be supervised in methods of leadership development and organisational change through ‘action learning’, a process of group reflection and discussion on challenges in the workplace to help you to learn and manage change effectively within your organisation.

As part of this course, we can provide online supervision with access to distance learning materials if needed, enabling those with work and/or family commitments to advance their academic and professional development while maintaining their employment and family responsibilities.
