You should have completed: IBM DemandTec Promotion Optimization (Creating Promotions is the prerequisite course to IBM DemandTec Promotion Optimization) Predicting Promotions and Reviewing Results. In addition, it is recommended that you: have some experience using web browsers, the internet and Microsoft Windows operating systems are able to navigate a GUI environment have experience working with spreadsheets and reports

In this hands-on course you work within a dedicated training environment to learn how to predict a Promotion and understand the science behind the forecast. Review the various reports available both at the promoted product level and the category level. Enter your own forecast in lieu of predicting a promotion; understand when and why to use the UEF, review and change the forecast by various levels of aggregation (item, location, date).
