IBPM International Business Process Management

This module consists of the basic principles of business process reengineering, including a procedural model on business process improvement, followed by Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Continuous Process Improvement (CIP). Afterwards, systems theory and the basics of of business process modelling are covered. Further on, the modelling language Extended Event Driven process Chains (eEPC) and and the Knowledge Modelling and Description Language (KMDL®) are presented.
Further on, students present their solved case studies covering a topic on business process modelling and reengineering. For the last section, students elaborate a scientifically written text on a relevant topic. Additionally, the students will hold a presentation on their elaboration. The whole content points towards an international perspective which includes cultural and other aspects.
