Das Beste Great course for anyone who needs to improve their maths skills. Starts very basic level, and gradually increases in difficulty. Great interactive format, and very clear examples. Highly recommended.

Das Beste Best online course you'll find on fundamental algebra topics. The course is amazingly well structured with highly interactive lessons that keep the student engaged and attentive all the time. Also the course focuses on developing the fundamental concepts from intuition, which is a great approach to learning because you understand the ideas rather than memorize steps and formulas that you'll forget, as it sadly happens with most math-related courses, including schools and many universities. Also it provides a lot of varied exercises that keep you warmed-up and allow you to absorb ideas that you only learn on your own when you practice. The course teaches you the "why" rather than the "how to". Mathematics exists because the people who have developed it throughout the centuries studied it through a insightful approach, understanding the fundamentals instead of memorizing formulas without a background comprehension. I totally recommend this course for people who want to fill gaps or have a basic level of arithmetic and want to get a fundamental understanding of algebra, the pillar of modern mathematics. It'd be awesome if a course on more advance algebra or pre-calculus was open.

Zu verbessern Everything OK.

Das Beste Amazingly interactive step by step intro to Algebra 1. My daughter in 8th grade started using this course to understand Algebra 1 concepts for the class she is taking at school, and the progress has been amazing. I looked at so many other online materials and this IS THE BEST! Thank you guys, you are making algebra possible for anyone!

We live in a world of numbers. You see them every day: on clocks, in the stock market, in sports, and all over the news. Algebra is all about figuring out the numbers you don't see. You might know how fast you can throw a ball, but can you use this number to determine how far you can throw it? You might keep track of stock prices, but how can you figure out how much money you've made (or lost) in the market? And you may already know how to tell time, but can you calculate at what times a clock's hour and minute hands are exactly aligned? With algebra, you can answer all of these questions, using the numbers you already know to solve for the unknown. Algebra is an essential tool for all of high school and college-level math, science, and engineering. So if you're starting out in one of these fields and you haven't yet mastered algebra, then this is the course for you!   In this course, you'll be able to choose your own path within each lesson, and you can jump between lessons to quickly review earlier material. AlgebraX covers a standard curriculum in high school Algebra I, and CCSS (common core) alignment is indicated where applicable.
