The Introduction to Scala and Functional Programming short course is a gentle transition from Java and the imperative programming paradigm to Scala and the functional programming paradigm.It shows how the inherited part of Java can be used in Scala parlance and introduces the main native Scala libraries in various contexts. The short course covers development of functional data structures, use of Lists, Collections, evaluation strategies and functional design patterns.The course is taught over 10 weeks in the evenings, allowing you to continue with full-time employment.
