Needling Methods from the Classics (Akupunktur für Fortgeschrittene)

This course is a great opportunity to improve your needling skills with hands on training while studying the marvellous treasure of the classics.

You will have an in-depth look at needling methods from the classics, including the Ling Shu (Miraculous Pivot) and the Zhen Jiu Da Chang (Great Compendium of Acupuncture).

We will discuss basic aspects of needling such as how to choose needle depth appropriately, as well as advanced needle methods and combination techniques, such as advanced methods of supplementation and drainage and combined supplementation and drainage techniques.

One full day will be spent on needling and one full day on bloodletting therapy, an essential although underutilized classical method in the modern clinic. These two days will include the indepth discussion of the classics as well as hands on training.

On the third day you will have plenty of time to deepen your theoretical knowledge and practical skills by intense supervised practice so that you will be able to integrate the learned techniques in your daily work right away.
