This course enables the participants to effectively install and manage Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0). The participants learn how to access and use Oracle Application Server management tools, and practice management tasks both by using Application Server Control and command-line tools. The participants also learn how to deploy J2EE applications and manage SSL in an Oracle Application Server. Participants learn backing up and restoring the Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) instances.
The participants also learn the concepts of high availability, clustering, and how to manage clusters in an active-active configuration. If the participants are familiar with Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) and intend to use this version along with the Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0), this is the right course for learning about Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) administration. If the participants are planning to use Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) as stand alone, then this is the right course for learning about Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) administration as well.
Learn To: "Install Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) "Administer tools and components "Deploy J2EE applications and Web services "Backup and restore Oracle Application Server "Configure Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) "Manage Active-Active Clustering in Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0)
