What you will Study You will need to achieve 11 mandatory units plus optional units. The mandatory units are:- * Communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults * Schools as organisations * Support learning activities * Promote children and young people’s positive behaviour * Develop professional relationships with children, young people and adults * Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in work with children and young people * Support assessment for learning * Engage in personal development in health, social care or children and young people’s settings * Support children and young people's health and safety * Understand child and young person development * Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people
How you will Learn Portfolio sessions will include theory research, practical tasks, group involvement, work based projects, resource learning and workshops. Your assessor will plan, and assess your practical work in the workplace.
How you will be Assessed You will be allocated a workplace learning assessor who will guide you to complete a portfolio of evidence.
