· Voraussetzungen

The Master programme is taught in English; therefore an advanced level of English is required. To be admitted to the Master programme in Production Science and Management, an appropriate Bachelor degree, such as Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Economics at Graz University of Technology, has to be acquired before.Concerning the qualification of students who didn’t accomplish one of the two Bachelor Programmes mentioned above, courses out of these Bachelor Programmes in the amount of up to 25 ECTS credits can be assigned to the student.

The mission of the Master programme Production Science and Management is the qualification of students in a society that is characterised by constant technological, economic and social changes. Success of an
organisational unit can only be ensured by people who are motivated and identify themselves with their jobs because they are able to understand its purpose.

Based on modern learning models, the study programme offers and organises individual qualification services that support people in dealing with constantly changing processes and new technologies.

Taking this into consideration, the main aims of the study programme are sustained development and education of students for their
• technical
• economic and
• social competence.
All courses of the Master programme are held in English to serve the purpose of enforcing the international aspect and enhancing the qualification and attractiveness of students of Production Science and Management for international acting enterprises.

Production Science and Management General Information

Production Science and Management (PSM) is a Master programme taught at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Economics at Graz University of Technology. The programme can be chosen after the successful completion of the bachelor course in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering / Economics at TU Graz or an equivalent programme.
For a successful completion of the foursemester programme, students are required to obtain 120 ECTS credits. Language of instruction is English.

Master Thesis
The Master thesis has to be written in English and has to incorporate technical as well as economic aspects. Most theses at TU Graz take between four to six months to be com-pleted. They are jointly supervised by an institute and a company, which results in real life experience already before the end of the studies.

International students who wish to begin or continue their studies at Graz University of Technology have to submit a complete application for admission with all necessary documents by September 1st for the winter
semester and by February 1st for the summer semester of the respective year of entry.

Zusätzliche Informationen

Preisinformation: *Studierende aus Österreich, einem EU- oder EWR-Staat sowie Konventionsflüchtlinge sind für die Mindeststudiendauer ihres Studiums plus zwei Toleranzsemester vom Studienbeitrag befreit. *Während der beitragsfreien Zeit ist für eine gültige Fortsetzungsmeldung nur der ÖH-Beitrag in Höhe von € 16,86 pro Semester zu entrichten. *Studierende aus Ländern wie z. B. Australien, Kanada, Japan, Russland, Südkorea und USA zahlen den Studienbeitrag in Höhe von € 363,36 sowie den ÖH-Beitrag in Höhe von € 16,86, also in Summe € 380,22 pro Semester.
