Beschreibung

The aim of this seminar is to give the participant practical, hands-on experience of the techniques behind successful negotiation strategies. The participant will develop their ability to fairly and ethically develop their own negotiation skills, while, at the time, learning to identify strategies used by negotiation counterparts. The focus will practically oriented and important theoretical aspects of this particular subject (e.g. BATNA, ZOPA etc.) will be delivered in a highly engaged, practically relevant style by the trainer with multiple opportunities for the participant to practice and reflect on such techniques.
The trainer (English native speaker) motivates the participants through roll-plays, trainer input and to improve their negotiations preparation and implementation skills.
The seminar is delivered 100% in English (intermediate English level prerequisite) and will involve teamwork, brainstorming, simulations, games and presentations.

  • The Harvard Concept for Negotiations
  • Identifying your BATNA (Best alternative for to negotiated agreement), ZOPA (Zone of possible Agreement) and the Nash Equilibrium
  • Game Theory and the concept of Win-Win
  • Expanding the pie – negotiating packages, not salary
  • Recognising Dirty Tricks
  • Defence against the ‘dark arts’ – Strategies and techniques for defending against tricky counterparts
  • Role Plays with extensive group and trainer feedback (if requested with video feedback)
