This two-day instructor-led course introduces students to the newfeatures and standards that are offered and supported in IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 8, Network Deployment (ND). In this course, students learn how to install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server V8 Network Deployment,and how to deploy enterprise Java applications. Students also learn how to work with new features in WebSphere ApplicationServer V8, such as flexible management, administrative console extensions, security enhancements, and logging. Hands-on exercises throughout the course are designed to reinforce lecture content. The lab exercises allow studentsto gain practical experience with WebSphere Application Server V8 by performing tasks such as installing and assemblingapplications, using logging capabilities, and implementing administrative security.
