WebSphere Lombardi Edition Transition to IBM Business Process Manager V7.5.1

This 4 hour course teaches you how to author, implement, and administer process applications in IBM Business Process Manager V7.5.1, which is different from the WebSphere Lombardi Edition V7.1 or V7.2 product.

IBM Business Process Manager V7.5.1 is a business process management (BPM) platform that supports the four core concepts of simplicity, power, governance, and visibility. You can document and manage the business processes of your organization, meet the demands of your business customers, and increase productivity when collaborating with BPM process application development teams.

This course is designed for students with a WebSphere Lombardi Edition developer or administrator background. You will learn about the differences and similarities between IBM Business Process Manager and the WebSphere Lombardi Edition product. The course provides a conceptual overview of the behavior and usage of the features and enhancements of Business Process Manager, including the Business Process Manager configurations and the Standard configuration architecture. The course also covers how to author and implement a business process definition, and how to deploy a process application.

Throughout the course, you will perform hands-on exercises that contribute to your mastery of Business Process Manager authoring techniques. During the exercises, you will use IBM Business Process Manager, the process center console, the administrative console, and the process portal.
