EDC Paris, a unique and special school

Founded in 1950, EDC is the oldest private French business school. The Force EDC Association includes 15,000 school graduates, spread over an international network present in 77 countries.

- 1950 – Creation of EDC Paris
- 1986 – Diploma approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education, level II certification
- 1995 – Takeover of the school by 250 former students
- 2005 – New 5 year program
- 2009 – State approved Master’s degree
- 2010 – EDC Paris becomes a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles
- 2013 – Renewal for 4 years of the State’s approval for the 5 year degree and the Master’s certification
- 2015 EDC Paris BS – 65th years of experience and the 20th anniversary of the takeover by its alumni

EDC Paris Business School provides its students with a broad-based high-level education, confirmed by the authorization to deliver a State approved Master’s Degree. The Graduate Cycle proposes 5 majors: Finance, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and the brand-new E-business major. The E-business major opened in 2014 in partnership with the Engineering School, EFREI, and it confers a double degree that can be prepared via a professionalization contract.

The School, as an independent entity, offers apprenticeship and double degree programs in the graduate cycle.

The school, with its strong international orientation is ranked in the top tier of the ‘Conférence des Grandes Ecoles’ in respect to foreign languages and inter-cultural skills.

This international dimension opens multiple doors and comes with obligations for students as they can do their internships in foreign countries or prepare double degrees in exchange programs with one of our 80 renowned partner universities; but they are also required to spend at least one semester in a foreign university, usually within an exchange program.

The key asset of the school resides in its Alumni network spearheaded by the association, Force EDC, which plays an important role in facilitating professional integration by proposing business assignments, internships and job opportunities. Force EDC also dispenses relevant advice and feedback to EDC Paris allowing it to fine tune its teachings to the needs expressed by enterprises.
