However, hiring varied talents, taking into account characteristics such as ethnicity, race, age, gender, religion, ability and sexual orientation, is only the first step in creating an inclusive organization. It is essential that leaders can create inclusive environments so that everyone can participate fully in the work. Knowing that, Emagister has added this Inclusive Leadership course: Harnessing the Power of Diversity to its training catalog.

This training provides executives with the skills they need to develop inclusive environments that motivate and involve their teams and organizations. The world-renowned faculty of Columbia Business School and Teachers College of Columbia University presents actionable frameworks and cutting-edge research that students can benefit from to diagnose the dynamics of diversity in their teams and organizations.

During the program, students work on a challenge of diversity or real-life inclusion that they face today and they will leave with a plan of action and new knowledge to face their challenge. Each participant also obtains a unique intercultural competence assessment, developing their self-awareness around the areas of improvement and the next steps to develop their intercultural skills.

During the final session of the program, the working groups reconvene to share their action plan for addressing this challenge.
