At the end of the three-day course you should have a fundamental understanding of wind power, PV, power storage using batteries and inverters in hybrid systems. You should know about typical applications in the context of rural electrification and off-grid power supplies. You should be able to carry out the essential steps for the planning of hybrid systems. You will be able to do initial designs of hybrid system using easily comprehensible software, to simulate the power generation costs of different technical variants and have an overview of different software programs. • Concise overview of the technology for hybrid systems
