Official Undergraduate Degree in Interior Design - IED Barcelona

Interior designers can design private homes, commercial spaces, banks, hotels, trade fair stands and exhibition spaces.

The first year centres on acquiring basic concepts in design, project culture and methodology, key to laying the foundations for working in a multidisciplinary approach. In the second year, students increase their technical, cultural and project knowledge and expertise and start to specialise in their chosen area. In the third year they concentrate on their specialist area and in the fourth year they produce their thesis project, which should open doors for them into the business world, together with in-company work experience.
