The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Trial Management is a compact, part-time program comprised of six modules, delivered through online training and 6 face-to-face weekend sessions with Parexel experts in Berlin (Germany).
The program is taught completely in English as a mixture of online and face-to-face training, requiring participants to be in Berlin (Germany) once a month.

The program provides participants with a broad but in-depth overview about how clinical trials are set up and conducted from beginning to end, emphasizing the main aspects of their development. After concluding the program, participants will be well-versed in six main areas of Clinical Research (Drug Development, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Monitoring, Data Management, Trial Management and Clinical Supplies) and will be able to apply this knowledge when transitioning to a career in the industry.
English speaking Life Sciences graduates, or Information Science, Statistics and Business graduates with relevant work experience based in Europe.
Career movers interested in working in Clinical Research.
Professionals in the pharmaceutical industry wishing to deepen their knowledge of Clinical Research.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Nursing or Information Science, Statistics and Business with relevant work experience.
Fluency in English (equivalent to C1 level - no certification required if knowledge proved through studies or work experience).
Availability to attend six weekend sessions (Friday through Sunday) in Berlin throughout the program.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Trial Management offers an optimal combination of self-paced online learning and the on-site, face-to-face knowledge gained from industry experts during the live sessions in Berlin. The flexible format allows participants to work while taking the course or conciliate family commitments. It also opens the doors to the field of Clinical Research, enabling participants to transition into this area or further advancing their careers in the industry.

Blended learning (online + face-to-face).
Self-paced online learning through reading, video presentations and exercises available at our e-learning platform, to be done as preparation for the face-to-face meetings. The face-to-face meetings take place in Berlin, once a month, Friday through Sunday (from 9AM to 6PM) and are mandatory (6 weekends in total).
Yes. During the program students are provided with recorded presentations and tasks to complete at our e-learning platform, which can be reviewed and completed according to your personal schedule within the learning weeks assigned. The workload (hours needed for completion) is estimated at 20 hours per module, plus six presence weekends in Berlin (Friday through Sunday). Please refer to the program calendar for further details.
Unfortunately we do not offer any scholarship or sponsorship for this program. Participants living and working in Germany might be entitled to some government support – please check with your local authorities.
The program fee can be paid upfront or in six installments (one per module). Invoices are issued a couple of weeks before the program start date.
