Webster’s psychology program offers a sound introduction to the field of psychology. Learning about psychology is more than facts – it involves creatively furthering theory, practically applying knowledge, and encouraging individualized reflection on the personal meaning of the topics studied. Our faculty consists of experienced professionals who bring a wealth of practical experience into the classroom. They work as clinical psychologists and psychotherapists, research topics such as burnout or the psychological dynamics of financial markets, conduct seminars for the business world, and deal with public health issues such as AIDS or the psychological training of hospital nurses. Students work in small groups, which allow for close contact and productive exchange between students and their professors. In addition to performing interesting work in the field, graduates of the program have continued their studies at internationally known institutions such as Columbia University, Cambridge University, the London School of Economics, Yale University, and the Sorbonne Institute
