Study Economic Research at the Universidad de Barcelona

This official Master aims to qualify students with the theoretical and empirical tools that will enable them to be prepared for analysing real economic problems and situations in research projects. It is an advanced programme that can be continued with the doctorate. The Master is completely taught in English and 120 credits are granted upon completion.

Inhalte

Students must obtain a total of 120 credits to complete the Master's degree.

During the first and second semester the students study foundation courses (40 ECTS), including microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematical economics and econometrics.

During the third and fourth semesters students must choose a field of research from the following specialisations:
  • Public Economics
  • Regional and Urban Economics
  • Growth and Trade
  • Government and Markets
  • Games. Behaviour and Incentives

The master's degree price for foreign students non residents in Spain, non nationals from EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Andorra is € 82 per credit ECTS. Year 2013-2014.
