After completing this course, students will be able to accomplish the following:
Explain the steps required to install and customize SA z/OS V3R2
Describe the coexistence and migration issues for existing SA V2 installations
Complete the customization of the z/OS system and NetView to prepare for SA z/OS 3.2 installation and customization
Explain the ISPF dialog panel requirements for SA z/OS and related help facilities
Explain and demonstrate the NetView Automation Table (AT) management capabilities of SA z/OS
Build and implement the required SA z/OS automation configuration files from the Policy Data Base
Customize the SA z/OS Policy Data Base for goal oriented operations of Applications and Application Groups in each of the following environments:
single system
a non sysplex multisystem
a basic sysplex
Navigate the SA z/OS NetView panels to show the status of automated resources
Verify and test the customization by initializing SA z/OS in several scenarios
Complete the customization the SDF component of SA z/OS
Navigate and verify the customized SDF panels
