SPRICH! Professioneller Workshop zum Thema „VoiceOver (Synchronisation) - Professionelle Sprachproduktion"

Leipzig: In einem Gemeinschaftsprojekt von Ubiquity Theatre Company (Theatergesellschaft), KARiSMA - Stimme & Persönlichkeit (Stimm-/Sprechtraining), Offstimme (Synchronisationsagentur) und Synchronics (Tonstudio) ist ein einzigartiger, professioneller und sehr praxisbezogener 3-Tages-Workshop zum Thema „VoiceOver - Professionelle Sprachproduktion" entstanden. Der Workshop wird Ende März in Leipzig statt finden und zielt besonders auf Personen ab, die mehr über dieses spannende Thema erfahren und/oder sich selbst einmal auf diesem Gebiet ausprobieren möchten.

Die Teilnehmer werden das Thema gemeinsam mit Experten aus den Bereichen Theater, Stimm-/Sprechtraining und Sprachproduktion erarbeiten und das Gelernte später praktisch im Tonstudio umsetzen. Dadurch werden sie ihre Stimme zukünftig noch professioneller einsetzen und Anweisungen (z.B. im Tonstudio) schneller umsetzen können.

An den ersten beiden Tagen werden die Grundlagen der Synchronisation/Sprachproduktion, wie Stimme, Textgestaltung, Charakterbildung, Mikrophonsprechen etc. in Kleingruppen theoretisch und praktisch erarbeitet. Dieses Wissen wird am dritten Tag im Tonstudio unter professioneller Anleitung und sehr praxisnah erprobt und umgesetzt.

Gareth Knapman und Kristin Kluck betreuen die Teilnehmer an den ersten zwei Tagen des Workshops. Gareth Knapman von der „Ubiquity Theatre Company" ist professioneller Schauspieler und Theaterpädagoge. Er wird vor allem praktisch mit den Teilnehmern arbeiten und sie dazu anregen, mit ihren Stimmen und ihrem Ausdruck verschiedene Charaktere entstehen zu lassen. Kristin Kluck von „KARiSMA - Stimme & Persönlichkeit" wird bei diesem Workshop als Spezialistin für Stimme und Aussprache fungieren. Dabei liegt der Fokus im Besonderen auf den Grundlagen des richtigen Stimmeinsatzes und Sprechens (Haltung, Atmung, Artikulation etc.).

Im Aufnahmestudio werden die Teilnehmer am dritten Trainingstag durch Peter Seaton-Clark von „Offstimme" und André Hemker von „Synchronics" betreut. Dort wenden sie das Erlernte praktisch an, setzen sich mit der Studiotechnik auseinander und produzieren unter realen Bedingungen eigene Synchronisationsaufnahmen. Dabei wird vor allem der Umgang mit Aufnahmeleiter und Tontechniker sowie die schnelle und präzise Umsetzung ihrer Anweisungen geübt.

Am Ende des Workshops erhalten die Teilnehmer ein Zertifikat sowie eine, von „Synchronics" gemasterte Kopie ihrer eigenen Sprachaufnahmen, welche als Show-Reel bzw. Demo verwendet werden kann. Teilnehmer mit besonders guten Arbeitsergebnissen werden die Möglichkeit haben, auch zukünftig mit Peter Seaton-Clark zusammenzuarbeiten und einen festen Platz in der Sprecherkartei der „Offstimme"-Website zu erhalten.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme am Workshop sind Grundkenntnisse im Bereich Schauspiel (Amateur oder Profi) oder ein wirkliches Interesse an dem Bereich der Synchronisation/Sprachproduktion. Der Workshop wird zum Teil in deutscher, zum Teil in englischer Sprache gehalten. Es steht jedoch jederzeit jemand zur Seite, der bei Verständigungsschwierigkeiten oder Sprachproblemen hilft.

Der Workshop wird am 25., 26. und 27. März 2011 in Leipzig stattfinden. Die Trainingszeiten gehen jeweils von 10 - 17 Uhr.

Die Kosten betragen regulär 249,- Euro, für Studenten und Arbeitslose 199,- Euro. Im Preis enthalten sind die Teilnahme am Workshop, das Zertifikat sowie die Demo-CD mit den eigenen Synchronisations-/Sprachaufnahmen.

SPRICH! A practical MASTERCLASS in voiceover acting technique

Leipzig, Germany: Ubiquity Theatre Company, KARiSMA - Stimme & Persönlichkeit (vocal training company), Offstimme (voiceover agency) and Synchronics (recording studio) are working in collaboration to produce a three-day training workshop in Leipzig city centre, looking to develop participants' technical and practical skills within the field of voiceover recording.

Participants will work with international, Leipzig-based professionals to explore and practically train in the skills required to be successful in the large and continually growing voice recording industry. The first two days will be spent studying and practicing the vocal skills needed and the third day will be spent within a professional recording studio in Leipzig, in order to give participants the chance to put their new skills into practice.

Kristin Kluck (Karisma) is a trained voice specialist and speech therapist whose focus will be the scientific and practical usage of the vocal instrument to produce clear and poignant recordings - skills that are also useful in more everyday workplace situations. Gareth Knapman (Ubiquity Theatre Company) is a trained actor and theatre pedagogue, and will work practically with the group to develop character building skills using the voice. Peter Seaton-Clark (Offstimme) and André Hemker (Synchronics) will work within the professional studio setting to give the group the chance to work with the technical equipment they would find themselves using within the trade. They will also provide practical situations looking at the ‘studio etiquette' needed when working with the directors and technicians who essentially pay the voiceover artists' wages.

Along with certification for their participation in the masterclass, those taking part will receive a copy of their studio work, professionally mastered by Synchronics. This can be used as a show reel for finding work as well as a symbol of their development. Offstimme are also offering the chance for high-achieving participants to be entered into their database and website for future professional work opportunities.

The workshop is open to both participants with a background in acting (amateur or professional) or a real interest in the future possibilities of working within the voiceover industry. The workshops will be led in a mixture of German and English, with support for those who struggle in either language.

The three-day masterclass will take place from Friday 25th - Sunday 27th March 2011 from 10.00am - 5.00pm.

The training weekend will cost €249, with a special concessionary price of €199 for students and the unemployed. Lunch will be provided.
