PHYSICS M.Sc. - auf Englisch

The international master of science PHYSICS was established to offer students from foreign countries the opportunity to pursue their education at a top ranked University in Germany. The program is entirely taught in English and provides a balance between courses in general physics and a rich variety of elective lectures to specialize in. German students interested to study in an international environment are welcome to join the program. Founded 1999 this international program enjoys a stable and reliable tradition. The department of physics at the University of Stuttgart and the participating Max Planck Institutes are well known for their outstanding scientific research in the fields of condensed matter physics, quantum optics, and atomic and molecular physics. Excellence in education and teaching is ensured by the long experience with international study programs at the University of Stuttgart and a close connection of the study program to the research of the participating institutes. The focus of the program is to provide a postgraduate education in physics and aims at students interested in pursuing a scientific career in research and industry.
