Administration of IBM WebSphere Process Server V6.1 with Application Server

This five-day instructor-led introductory course teaches students the skills they need to install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1 and IBM WebSphere Process Server for Multiplatforms V 6.1, a high-performance business engine at the heart of business process management (BPM) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on lab exercises, students learn how to install, configure, and administer WebSphere Process Server for Multiplatforms V6.1. Topics covered include security, working with human tasks, the Common Event Infrastructure (CEI), and business process choreography. Hands-on exercises are designed to reinforce the lectures, giving students practical experience with skills such as installation, configuring security, workload management, and problem determination.This course also concentrates on WebSphere Process Server administration tasks, and covers WebSphere Application Server only to the extent necessary to understand WebSphere Process Server administration.
