This Intensive Training
Balance sheet and P+L analysis provides an in-depth overview of the credit risk analysis through both quantitative and qualitative aspects applied in terms of best practice. Due to the use of case studies, participants will apply and strengthen their knowledge to identifying and mitigating key credit risks that a bank can face in lending business with corporate clients.
In addition the training focuses on the importance of using cash flow statements as part of the credit risk analysis and management in accordance with Basel recommendations.
The overall program will be interactive with case studies as a central theme of the course.

After attending this seminar, you are able to effectively analyze historic financial statements of annual reports in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and short-term profit and loss accounts (BWA) by using advanced ratio analysis while assessing the quality of the financial reporting, the financial health of the business and creditworthiness of a company.

You are familiar to precisely interpret a cash flow analysis, distinguish cash flows from operations, investing and financing activities and why cash flow analysis reveals more than income statement and balance sheet analysis.

You will be working on specific practical examples to conduct the core aspects of a credit investigation to assess the creditworthiness of a company and define the company's SWOT.
