Wind Farm Planning and Design

In this course you will gain the theoretical and practical skills required for wind farm planning and design, especially for complex wind farm projects. The course provides an overview of the planning steps and includes: constrains on wind farm planning, wind farm layout and siting, wind farm operation, SCADA-systems, contracts and insurance, mitigation of environmental impacts and cash flow analysis. A heavy emphasis is placed on practical work, with numerous exercises and a field trip.
