KURSINHALT
Today's data centers often suffer from complexity, inadequate security, poor or inconsistent performance, and high labor costs. Additionally, years of expansion or acquisition coupled with the lack of a consistent infrastructure can hinder your ability to scale your data center to meet future demands. This course introduces data center and network administrators to Oracle's Exalogic solution, which is designed to help standardize and consolidate your infrastructure and also greatly increase application performance. Students first learn how to identify and perform basic administrative tasks on Exalogic's hardware components, including servers, switches and storage. Then they focus on optimizing Oracle software to best take advantage of this hardware configuration, including the InfiniBand fabric.
