This course is designed to teach IBM PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX (formerly known as HACMP) professionals the techniques used to implement a highly available virtualized environment.

VORRAUSSETZUNG
Students must have experience planning, implementing, and administering a PowerHA SystemMirror or HACMP cluster and basic knowledge of how to create a LPAR and VIO server. This prerequisite may be met by attending:

• PowerHA for AIX 1: Implementation, Configuration and Administration (AN41D1DE)
• Power Systems for AIX - Virtualization 2: Implementing Virtualization (AN30D1DE)

Students should also have basic knowledge of the following topics: TCP/IP communications concepts, and LVM concepts and configuration. This prerequisite may be met by attending:

• TCPIP for AIX Administrators (AN21D1DE)
• Power Systems for AIX 2: AIX Implementation and Administration (AN12D1DE)
