KURSINHALT
This 1-day technical seminar will provide information about the latest Parallel Sysplex-related enhancements to z/OS and supporting hardware. Performance information will also be provided based on recent ITSO projects._x000D_

Themenübersicht
  • Description of the latest z/OS and CF Level enhancements in relation to sysplex.
  • There are as many different implementations of Parallel Sysplex as there are Parallel Sysplex customers. However, there are ways to do things that will deliver better performance or availability than others. This section provides information about IBM's latest best practices recommendations.
  • Some people view the implementation of Parallel Sysplex data sharing as the decisive step in your efforts to deliver improved application availability. However, there is a valid argument that data sharing is only the enabler. To actually get the full benefit of Parallel Sysplex, you should exploit z/OS's various dynamic workload balancing capabilities. This section discusses those capabilities and how the interact with each other.
  • Miscellaneous bits of useful information.
